We are focussed on assisting couples to have the BEST birth experience
possible. Situated at Pretoria's only Active Birth Unit. We offer antenatal
education, natural birth courses and comprehensive courses - group or
one-to-one sessions, midwife based care for natural birth and postnatal
support.
Our team includes 3 midwives, a specialized postnatal care and breastfeeding
sister, a doula and highly qualified lactation consultant.
Midwives: Heather Pieterse, Esti Vijoen and Erna Loedolff offer assist
couples with natural births and waterbirths at the active birth unit or at
home.
Mariette Enslin and Marie-Louise Steyn offer doula services, postnatal care
and breastfeeding support.
A specialized pregnancy therapeutic reflexologist and dietician also form
part of our practice.

I offer parenting preparation classes on a group or private basis in Craighall Park. Parents
to be are prepared for the birth of their baby and the early days of becoming a
parent through ante natal classes. I also do a well baby clinic, supporting
parents, immunising babies and monitoring their growth and development. Parenting
workshops and parent coaching is done on an ongoing basis to meet the ever
changing needs of the family.

I offer childbirth education classes - covering all aspects of birth - vaginal and caesarean birth and what to expect in the post partum period.
Early baby care and in depth breastfeeding advice is given in the antenatal and post natal period. I also offer exercise
classes done to music using various training aids. Relaxation, breathing and prebirth stimulation
is covered in these classes. Well baby clinic, baby massage classes, post natal exercises and parenting
talks are offered after baby is born. Classes are run from a serene studio in a garden at Tina's home.
