About UsThe concept, which carries the Preggi Perfect Retreat, came to Dominique one lazy Saturday morning. Based on her own difficulties adjusting to motherhood, she decided it was time that the existing mothers of the world stop hiding behind their Martha Stewart mirages and told the moms-to-be what is really expected from the day you bring that precious baby home. It was with that in mind that we came together to form a weekend away that will prepare the mom-to-be, manage her expectations of the up and coming months and give her a solid foundation on which to perch herself for the world of motherhood. About Dominique"Carrying and raising Coming from a marketing and advertising background I was under the impression that climbing a corporate ladder with the undeniable, crucifying competition in a cutthroat industry would be my greatest feat. I was wrong. Becoming a mother would be my biggest challenge. The second I saw my daughter I knew that I would instantly die to give her life. The connection was immediate, the momentous instant of unconditional love imminent. The adjustment to motherhood…a disaster!
About Lynne
After my miscarriage in May 2005 I was told that I should take the idea of having a baby out of my head. Needless to say, I was devastated; I wanted the whole fairytale, loving husband, picket fence house and a bunch of children running around.
I placed the idea far away in my memory archive and planned my April wedding. It was the best day of my life; I married
the perfect man, a man who loved me just the way I was, a man that was okay with the fact that their might not be children in
our future. It was truly a happy day but there was always something missing..
